TITAN Facelift

Titan is a non-surgical treatment that delivers a unique range of light energy to heat the skin's dermis layer - well below the skin's surface. This heating can cause immediate collagen contraction resulting in tighter skin. There is no other device like it on the market. During the Titan procedure, the skin's surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling by the Titan handpiece. After the procedure, new collagen growth results in further tightening with the improvement of lax skin, folds and lines. How does the TITAN Face Lift & TITAN Body Lift Work?

The infrared light penetrates the deep, inner layers of the skin, uniformly heating the existing collagen and subsequently causing it to shrink and firm up. This shrinkage promotes long-term collagen production, which lifts the targeted areas and gives the patient a smoother, more toned appearance. While the infrared light source heats the collagen, the cooling attachment continuously cools the surface skin in order to protect the skin's epidermal surface and prevent any heat-related damage. Multiple passes are made over the skin. Some redness or minor swelling may occur in the treated areas immediately after the procedure, but this subsides within a few hours.

What results can be expected with TITAN skin tightening?

Patients can expect visible improvement within the first three weeks after treatment. Because the treatment promotes collagen production, results may continue to improve for up to six months.

What can I expect from my Titan treatment?

Initially, following a free no-obligation consultation with the experienced, qualified staff at Med-Spa, you will be asked to complete a medical history form. We will then discuss your treatment schedule with you and the results you can expect. We’ll also answer any questions you may have.

With each Titan pulse you will feel a brief heating sensation. Some patients are more comfortable taking a mild pain reliever beforehand, but many patients do not require this.

Immediately following the treatment you may notice some redness and mild swelling in the treated area. Both should go within a few hours.

Some people see results immediately. For others, the results are gradual over a one to two month period as new collagen is formed and the skin tightens. Some patients need more than one treatment but many get the results they want after just one visit.

Titan can not stop the ageing process but it can effectively 'put the clock back' to how your skin used to look. Experts have so far demonstrated that the benefits of Titan lifting can be seen for one to two years after treatment. Further treatments can be given if desired.
