The Restylane VitalTM range now offers two products; each carefully designed to revitalise the skin by restoring hydrobalance; promoting the production of healthy skin by balancing the nutritional environment of the skin at cellular level by attracting and releasing water when needed. Skin vitality and lustre is restored and skin condition is improved. Treatment with Restylane Vital Light has now become simpler and more comfortable thanks to the new, innovative Restylane® pen type injector.
Whilst Restylane Vital is suited for photo damaged, crêpey skin, Restylane Vital Light is a newly formulated, less concentrated hyaluronic acid gel specifically designed for use in more sensitive skin areas, such as the crows feet lines, neck and décolletage which have been, up until now, difficult to treat. Restylane Vital Light boosts skin elasticity leaving it looking smoother and feeling firmer and more toned. It can be used in its own right as a skin boosting treatment or in conjunction with the Restylane filler range and Macrolane to optimise treatment results. For many women Restylane Vital Light offers the perfect way to embrace aesthetic treatments for the first time and combine with their skin care creams. Skin revitalisation treatments require the delivery of many small reproducible volume deposits. This is particularly important when treating sensitive or delicate skin areas.
The Restylane Injector is designed to deliver consistently the correct dose of Restylane Vital Light which is important to achieve optimum treatment outcomes in large skin areas, such as the mid-lower face, décolletage, neck and backs of hands.

Patient satisfaction is high, with noticeable improvement in skin quality being evident after two treatment sessions. It is also a quick and comfortable treatment experience with the new Injector. The Restylane Injector is also a more patient friendly device and the needle phobic should find it less intimidating than a normal syringe.

A course of three Restylane Vital Light treatments for one-area costs in the region of £500 but cost depends on patient treatment needs and skin condition, which determine the amount of product used. Treatment results will not be immediately apparent but improvement in skin tone and appearance is noticeable after the second treatment. Treatment benefits typically last in the region of 6-9 months but duration is dependent on the lifestyle of the patient and skin condition.
