Acne treatments for teenagers

Extraction Facial: During this facial treatment, your therapist will perform extractions after the steaming process.  Steam helps to open the pores and aid in the extraction process. Your therapist will most likely use her fingers with a gloves and a special technique, preventing scarring from occurring.  Depending on the Comedones, your therapist may use a Comedones extractor, which is a metal instrument to aid in deep or hard to reach extractions.  After your extractions, your therapist will calm the skin and apply a toner or cool aromatic towel to close down the pores.

High frequency facial:

This relaxing treatment cleanses, stimulates and heals the skin. The high frequency current generates warmth and stimulates the nerve endings, which in turn increases blood circulation,kills bacteria on problem skin.

LED Acne Phototherapy:

Blue LED Phototherapy - good alternative to antibiotic acne therapy. LED Blue Light penetrates into the superficial dermis and has a calming and regulating effect on the sebaceous gland. According to a report presented to the scientists just two 15-minute sessions per week for a period of 4 weeks using LED blue light produced a 60% reduction in acne in 80% patients.
