Titan is ideal for treating skin laxity in that type of patient, as well as post-liposuction skin laxity.
The hand piece delivers the entire IR spectrum from 1100 nm through 1800 nm,
causing a bulk heating effect in the dermis while the cooling mechanism protects the epidermis.
This bulk heating elevates the temperature of water within the dermis to 50° C, inducing partial denaturing of the collagen. This in turn activates a feedback mechanism stimulating the formation of new collagen. So there is an immediate tightening effect followed by new collagen formation that peaks at about three months. Titan successfully treats the face, neck, abdomen,
arms, side and buttocks.
Our non-invasive Nd: YAG 1320nm treatment is based on the absorption of ND: YAG laser energy by haemoglobin with partial coagulation of microvasculature in papillary dermis and release of inflammatory mediators. The result in micro vascular renewing, fibroblast stimulation and new collagen remodelling.
